Please read this in it's entirety to be prepared to keep your new Goldnglitter Bengal kitten safe in his or her new home.
Do:
-Do have a small room like a bathroom prepared to keep your new Bengal kitten in to feel safe and secure for at least the first 2 weeks.
-Do have plenty of safe toys, small cat tree or condo, scratching posts, high sided litter box, feline (or equine) pine litter, litter scoop, and fresh food and water provided at all times.
-Do spend plenty of time playing with your new Bengal kitten.
-Do follow our directions and contracts when bringing your new Bengal kitten home.
-Do introduce your new Bengal kitten to other parts of your home and other pets, slowly, after the first 2 weeks. Do not leave your new Bengal kitten unsupervised during these transitions.
-Do call if you have any questions or concerns about your new Bengal kitten. We are always here to answer your questions.
-Do look behind you when closing doors or leaving your home. Be careful of tails, paws, and heads when closing doors. Make sure they do not sneak out when you leave your home.
-Do make your house kitty safe by covering unused outlets and keeping doors and windows closed.
-Do hide as many electrical wires as possible.
-Do train your new Bengal kitten to stay off the stove and out of the refrigerator.
-Do visit the vet once a year for a health check up.
-Do enjoy and love your new Bengal kitten for a long, long time.
Do Not:
-Do not disregard our directions and contracts.
-Do not leave any type of string toys alone with your new Bengal kitten.
-Do not let your new Bengal kitten play with unsafe or small toys that can cause a choking hazard.
-Do not let your new Bengal kitten outside.
-Do not use flea medicines on your new Bengal kitten if not needed.
-Do not allow your new Bengal kitten to wear any type of collar.
-Do not leave patio or balcony doors opened or ajar.
-Do not give more than one type of vaccine per vet visit.
-Do not vaccinate against feline leukemia. They do not need this vaccine as all Bengal kittens sold are to stay inside the home.
-Do not let your new Bengal kitten play unsupervised with young children or other pets.
-Do not give vaccines because your vet tells you to.
-Do not use ketamine anesthesia. There are safer ones to use.
-Do not ever hesitate to call with any questions or concerns.
-Do not buy this new Bengal kitten unless you are prepared for a long, loving, lifetime commitment.
