1.  What is the price for a Bengal kitten?

  • It depends what you are looking for.  Pet, breeder or show.  Breeder and show Bengal kittens will be the closest to the Bengal breed standard and will start at $1800 and go up.  Pet kittens will start at $700 and go up.  Pricing depends on how closely the Bengal kittens resemble the breed standard.

2.  Will my Bengal kitten come with a health guarantee?

  • Absolutely.  Check out the contract page to read more.  Every Bengal kitten will come with a contract and guarantee.

3.  When can I get my Bengal kitten?

  • Bengal kittens must stay here with their mother until they are at least 12 weeks old.  This ensures that they are well socialized before leaving here to go to their forever homes.  This also gives us time to evaluate each one.  Some may be held back for our own breeding program or we may  feel that they would make a nice breeder and be offered as such. The Bengal cat or kitten is solely owned by GoldNGlitter cattery until a contract is signed by us and prospective buyer.  GoldNGlitter has the right to refuse a sale to anyone.

4.  Do you ship your Bengal kittens and, if so, what is the cost?

  • Yes, we do ship our Bengal kittens.  We will ship only within the country.  The cost depends on the airline price.  The buyer is responsible to pay any expenses including airfare, carrier, and Florida health certificate.  Approximate cost is $200-$300.  This must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to shipping.

5.  Do you have a waiting list?

  • Yes, but contact us.  Most Bengal kittens will be evaluated up to 8 weeks so we can decide if we will be keeping any for our own program or if they will be offered as breeder/show.  It takes some time to evaluate them and they will be priced accordingly.

6.  What is the required deposit to hold a Bengal kitten?

  • $200 pet and $500 breeder/show.

7. What methods of payment do you accept?

  • Checks and money orders are accepted as well as paypal.  If you are local, cash works too.  All checks must clear before any Bengal kitten will be released.  The buyer is also responsible to pay 6% sales tax.  This is required by the state of Florida.

8.  If I change my mind can I have a refund of my deposit?

  • There are no refunds on your deposit unless for some reason the Bengal kitten cannot be delivered to you.  If you change your mind on the Bengal kitten you picked, the deposit can be transferred to another kitten within one year.  We have the right to cancel the sale to anyone.  The Bengal kittens are solely owned by GoldNGlitter until a contract has been signed and deposits have been met.  If at any time we feel the potential buyer as being unfit, even with a signed contract, only then will the deposit be refunded.

9.  Why do you ask so many questions to a potential buyer?

  • We need to be certain you are the right match for our Bengal kittens.  They are extremely important to us and may go only to those that are willing and able to make a lifelong commitment to our babies.  There are expenses to owning a cat including and not limited to yearly healthcare, unexpected vet visits, food, litter, toys, cat trees and the list goes on...

10.  Are your Bengal kittens registered?
  • Yes, our Bengal kittens are registered with TICA and we provide you with the registration papers and a 5 generation pedigree when you receive your new Bengal kitten.
11.  Do we have to neuter/spay our new Bengal kitten?
  • No.  All Bengal kittens will be neutered or spayed before leaving the cattery.  This is included in the price of your new Bengal kitten.  We offer breeder and show Bengal kittens to those with experience only.  They will not be neutered/spayed.
12.  Do you have references?
  • Yes, references are available upon requests and you may check out the testimonials page.
13.  What happens if we need "help" with our Bengal kitten down the road?
  • We are here for you for the life of your new Bengal kitten.  If you have any questions at any time, we are available to help you in any way we can.  We are committed to the Bengal breed and every kitten is part of the family.  If you have any questions at all, never hesitate to ask.  We appreciate updates throughout the life of your new forever friend.
14.  Can we visit the cattery?
  • Absolutely!  We encourage all potential buyers, if feasible, to visit our cattery, play with our cats, and pick out your Bengal Kitten ( or 2 ).  We just ask that you visit no other catteries on the day you would like to visit.  This ensures no transmitting of diseases to our cattery.  Health is a big concern and we want all of our Bengal cats and kittens to stay healthy and happy.
